\n Hazardous Waste Classification Testing<\/span>\n <\/h1>\n

\n Before you can manage a waste, you must classify it. A single study\n can reduce your disposal costs by 5 to 20 times.\n <\/p>\n

\n In order to decide on the correct final disposal of a waste, it is essential\n to determine whether it is hazardous or not. Under \n Argentine Ley 24.051 and Decree 831\/93 (Annex IV)<\/strong>, a waste is hazardous\n if it presents at least one of ten defined characteristics. The classification\n methodology defined in Annex IV is equivalent in structure to the US EPA RCRA\n framework (40 CFR Part 261) and the Basel Convention hazard codes \u2014\n making Argentine waste studies mutually legible with international systems.<\/p>\n
